There is a power to exposing your body to varying temperatures. I would like to share with you a way to invigorate the skin on your face using different temperatures of water.
Firstly, wet your face with water around 35 degrees Celsius (roughly the temperature of the human body). This will open your pores and make it easier and more comfortable for you to wash your face. Then proceed with your regular washing. I like to massage my facewash into my face for about 40 seconds (I do this quite slowly). If your skin is dry, you will only need to wash once, however if your skin is quite oily you may wish to rinse and repeat the above step.
After you have rinsed the facewash off (with warm water), splash cold water onto your face. Pat your face with this cold water for about 1 minute. This may be uncomfortable, but it will do wonders for the invigoration of your facial area. This sudden temperature change will do a lot to refresh you.
I also like to do this in the shower from time to time (but it is best to do this in the summer as the winter can be quite cold). In the shower, you can try turning the water from warm to cold for an exhilarating experience that will waken your senses and help to tighten your skin and give it that fresh, youthful appearance.
Anyway, after either scenario, be sure to lock in this freshness with a natural face or body cream.
